Privacy Policy

1. Definitions of Personal Information

Company shall define Personal Information as follows:

"Personal Information shall mean information about a living individual which can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth or other description contained in such information, will allow easy reference to other information and will thereby enable the identification of the specific individual."

Additionally, Company shall define Personal Data as follows:

"Personal Data shall mean personal information constituting the following assembly of information (excluding the assembly having little possibility of harming individual rights and interests in consideration of how the information is used): i) an assembly of information systematically arranged in such a way that specific personal information can be retrieved by a computer; or ii) an assembly of information including a table of contents, index or similar others to facilitate search of information that has been systematically organized by arranging personal information according to a certain rule that enables specified personal information to be readily searched for."

2. Purposes of the use of Personal Information

The Personal Information will be used for the following purposes:

  • 1) performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the goods and/or services requested by Service user;
  • 2) verifying Service user's identity;
  • 3) responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback from Service user;
  • 4) managing Service user's relationship with Company;
  • 5) processing payment or credit transactions;
  • 6) sending Service user marketing information about our goods or services, including notifying Service user of our marketing events, initiatives and promotions, lucky draws, membership and rewards schemes, and other promotions;
  • 7) Displaying advertisements or content regarding our services customized for the Service user through the use of Customer Match;
  • 8) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or assisting in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;
  • 9) any other purposes for which Service user has provided the information;
  • 10) transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties, including our third-party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the aforementioned purposes;
  • 11) verifying the identity of the Service user, managing and tracking the number of customer referrals from partner companies, and contacting the Service user, in connection with our music production and distribution services and/or related services; and
  • 12) any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.

3. The result in case Personal Information is not provided (electronic input).

Where Service user cannot provide or input Personal Information of necessary matters upon using such service, such Service user cannot receive such service.

4. Regarding use Personal Information and provision to third party

With respect to Personal Information which is retained by us, we will not use and provide except the purpose of the provision 2. In case we use and provide it except the provision 2, we shall notify a person in advance, and we acquire the person's consent.

However, we may provide the Personal Data to a third party in the following cases without a person's consent.

  • 1) Case in which is based on any laws, or disclose to courts, quasi-judicial agency, administrative agency, regulatory authority due to complaint procedure, non-contentious cases or contentious case.
  • 2) Cases in which the handling of Personal Information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
  • 3) Cases in which the handling of Personal Information is special necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
  • 4) Cases in which the handling of Personal Information is necessary for cooperating with a state organ, a local government, or an individual or a business operator entrusted by either of the former two in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations and in which obtaining the consent of the person is likely to impede the execution of the affairs concerned.

5. Scope of the third party

In following the cases, the individual receiving such Personal Data shall not be deemed a third party for the application of the provisions of the foregoing 4 provisions:

  • 1) Cases in which we entrust the handling of Personal Data in whole or in part within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use.
  • 2) Cases in which it is used jointly between specific parties.
  • 3) Cases in which Personal Data is provided in relation to succession of a business based on merger and the other reasons.

6. Google Customer Match

We use "Customer Match" provided by Google LLC to display advertisements or content regarding our services customized for each Service user on Google services, thereby improving user convenience. For this purpose, we share a portion of the Service user's Personal Data with Google LLC as described below, and such data is used solely for the purpose of displaying advertisements or content regarding our services on Google LLC's services. When using "Customer Match," the Service user's Personal Data is hashed and used with consideration for privacy.

7. With respect to Outsourcing the handling of Personal Data

Where we entrust a necessary part of business with providing our service, we may outsource the handling of Personal Data.

In this case, we will select trustees which complies with any laws and our Personal Information protect standard, and we make an agreement, and then we supervise handling of appropriate Personal Data.

8. Joint Use of Personal Data

In order to achieve the purpose of use, we may jointly use the Personal Data within the following scope.

  • 1) Items of Personal Data to be jointly used
    • All acquired Personal Data
  • 2) Scope of parties jointly using the Personal Data
    • Partner companies to whom we outsource the introduction of our services
  • 3) Purpose of use by the parties jointly using the Personal Data
    • Same as the above purposes of use
  • 4) Name and address of the person responsible for the management of the Personal Data

9. With respect to Personal Information disclosure, etc.

Service user may, within the scope permitted under Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan), ask the following person for the notification of the purpose of use; disclosure of personal information or records of provision to third parties; correction, addition, or deletion of information; and/or suspension of use or cessation of provision to third parties.
